Why I built this, alone.
Every year, thousands of students move to Lucknow for college and end up navigating the same broken system — unverified listings, brokers who disappear after the deposit, and no real way to check a room before showing up with luggage in hand.
I built UrbanTenants to fix exactly that. As a developer, I designed and coded the platform myself, from the listings engine to the booking flow, so renters get accurate details, real photos and videos, and a straightforward way to book a verified room without the guesswork.
UrbanTenants exists to make that simple: verified rooms, honest pricing, and zero brokerage — so every student can find a place to call home without the stress.
